Rugged is our standard stainless steel system which is left as a raw finish.

 

Ultimate

Ultimate is our premium system which is made out of 304 grade stainless steel tube that we polish in-house.

 

Please note this system suits early models pre August 2010 only.
Early models have 4 studs on the connection from the back of the turbo. Late models have 2 studs at the top, and 2 bolts on the bottom.

Chassis Options:
Short Wheel Base – Dual cab utes with tub bodies. (3070mm from front hub to rear hub)
Long Wheel Base – Single cab or space cab tray back utes. (3200mm from front hub to rear hub).

Does your car have turbo lag or lack that pulling power? The factory exhaust restricts the airflow that is coming from the turbo. The pipes are too small and the components are not letting the engine breathe to the best of its ability. Majority of this can be solved with a new exhaust from the back of the turbo.
You will gain anywhere up to 8-12% improved performance just by letting the airflow out of the motor. Turbo lag will reduce resulting in better low down torque and giving you more pulling power out of the top of the rev range.

 

Be careful! Having an exhaust system too large for the motor can have the opposite effect! We have had some customers come back to us with aftermarket exhausts that are too big for the motor and in turn it has given them more turbo lag and less overall power gains. On some motors if the exhaust is too big you can run into some problems including over boosting or even boost spike of the turbo which will throw you into limp mode. This can be extremely dangerous if you are towing a caravan or trailer. This can happen from the turbo trying to spin too hard and fast, the ECU recognises this and can throw the car into limp mode.

 

We have found through research and development that a 2 3/4” exhaust system performs better than any other size for this vehicle. Mandrel bent, welded and manufactured in our workshop in South East Queensland, this high quality exhaust system includes:

  • Replacement Dump Pipe off turbo – 2mm wall thickness
  • 1/4in BSP Pyrometer fitting welded onto dump pipe – Standard in all systems
  • Ceramic coating of dump pipe standard (Please note: There may be a delay with your order for the coating)
  • Euro 3 Standard 200 cell hi-flow Catalytic Converter – meets all emissions standards without restricting gas flow
  • Double braided stainless steel flex joint standard on all systems – inner and outer braid makes the flex joint stronger
  • Perforated straight through muffler or resonator as standard
  • No muffler pipe is available as an additional pipe for a louder note
  • This system can be purchased with no mufflers – designed for off road use only  Beaudesert Exhaust recommends purchasing a muffler or resonator then add the no muffler pipe. This is for legal reasons varying from state to state
  • 2 bolt 10mm 304 grade stainless steel flange plates
  • Reinforced brackets with supports – 12mm 304 grade stainless steel rod with knobs ensures the hangers don’t fall out of rubbers
  • Systems are available in Rugged Range or Ultimate Range (304 grade polished stainless steel)
  • Zinc plated locking nuts and bolts
  • Fitting Kit and easy to follow instructions
  • Boxed and bubble wrapped for freight
  • Freighted Australia wide with insurance in a prompt time frame

Options for exhaust

Ceramic coating of the dump pipe is standard (Please note: There may be a delay with your order for the coating)

Changing the standard oval muffler to a small cylinder resonator for a louder note is at no charge.

The no muffler pipe is a replacement pipe that bolts in place of the muffler or resonator to gain maximum note.
