What to do in the Scenic Rim Shire

If you’re interested in a Beaudesert Exhaust system, why not make the trip to our workshop located in Beaudesert Queensland to get your vehicle fitted by one of our specialists. While you wait for your vehicle one of our friendly staff members can lead you to our fully air-conditioned customer waiting room, or hand you the keys to our loan-car so you can head into the township of Beaudesert. Beaudesert is made up of unique cafes, OP shops and specialty stores. Despite the expansion of the town, the friendly country vibe is still present. If cafes aren’t your thing, why not pack a picnic lunch and enjoy it in one of Beaudesert’s many parks, ask one of our staff members for a recommendation while you’re in.

Located just down the road from our workshop you will find the information centre. Plan your trip whilst enjoying home made style morning tea, browse around the shop filled handmade goods and artwork done by local talent. The information centre will have everything you need to make your trip one to remember.  For more details about the information centre visit the website: http://www.beaudesertartsandinfocentre.org.au/

Beaudesert has a strong pioneering heritage and if you look close enough, you can see this throughout the town. If you’re interested in the history of the town, you can make your way to the museum. It is the perfect way to pass some time whilst you wait for your vehicle. It is passionately maintained by the Beaudesert Historical Society, who knows, you could leave learning something new. You can find more information about the museum here: http://beaudesertmuseum.org.au/main/home.html

Located next to the museum, the Beaudesert pool is open in the hotter months. There is an Olympic size lap pool to cool down and a great paddle pool and water park for the kids.  Located just minutes from the town centre and surrounded by park land, hours could be spent here. For more information about the pool visit the website: http://www.scenicrim.qld.gov.au/web/guest/beaudesert.

If you’re making your way to stunning Scenic Rim, why not stay a little longer and see why the shire got the name. We have maps available at our reception if you’re interested in exploring.
